How is the Dental Assisting Program Growing?

Many of Porter and Chester Institute’s (PCI) programs have been changing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of these, in particular, is the Dental Assisting program. In as few as 10 months, graduates of this program can earn a diploma from campuses in Bridgeport, Hamden, New London, Rocky Hill, and Waterbury CT, and Brockton, Chicopee, and Worcester, MA.

Changes to this program now include:

  • 4 terms running for 10 weeks per term (three terms of online lecture/on-campus lab and one externship term)
  • Students come to campus two or three times a week for in-person labs
  • All coursework outside of on-campus labs is done online
  • Students use their devices to check in and out of externships using the CourseKey program

The Dental Assisting program is open for registration with the next start date on October 25, 2021. To learn more about the program, visit the program description page or sign up using the online application portal.
