Family Health Center of Worcester is recognized for its comprehensive care for underserved communities. In Porter and Chester Institute's partnership with Family Health Center, we've developed and delivered a continuing education program that consists of an online course and in-person, hands-on training to make sure staff are on top of the latest in medical and dental equipment safety and sanitation.

Leading the way in both smart home technology and efficient, green energy, aptly named Green Energy Mechanical has partnered with Porter and Chester Institute to identify the technicians of the 21st century. This partnership includes scholarship opportunities for qualified students up to $1,000, as well as professional development and mentorship opportunities.

In 2019, Porter and Chester and Jaguar Land Rover collaborated to provide career training focused on developing the technicians of the future for their luxury brand. Jaguar Land Rover is the UK’s largest automotive manufacturer, built around two iconic British car brands: Land Rover, the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel-drive vehicles; and Jaguar, one of the world’s premier luxury sports sedan and sports car marques. Jaguar Land Rover provides access to their brand-focused curriculum as well as scholarship opportunities through their retailers to students at Porter and Chester’s Canton, MA and Worcester, MA campuses to help jump-start a career with an elite automaker!

Muzi Motor Group, with both Chevy and Ford franchises, has expanded its partnership with Porter and Chester Institute to provide career opportunities, as well as scholarship and brand training resources for Porter and Chester students interested in an exciting career with the world-recognized Ford & Chevrolet brands. This partnership facilitates students getting hands-on experience working with the manufacturer’s technology on diagnostic codes, brake systems, fuel and exhaust systems, electronics, on-board computers and much more.

National Lumber Family of Companies works with both professional contractors and builders throughout the construction industry across New England. For example, the Engineered Wood Products division works directly with builders to design and deliver structural flooring systems and other framing for multi-residential projects. Reliable Truss is their design and manufacturing division, producing roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and other structural components with state-of-the-art facilities in New Bedford, MA and Branford, CT. Partnering with Porter and Chester Institute, National Lumber and Reliable Truss collaborate in providing part-time employment for new students through an extensive mentorship program, following with full-time employment opportunities upon graduation. This hands-on training assists students in translating knowledge into practical experience.

Neurology Center of New England is an industry-leading comprehensive neurological care center devoted to the diagnosis, care and management of patients with neurological diseases and syndromes. Porter and Chester has partnered together with the Neurology Center of New England to offer students both scholarship and externship opportunities as well as continued education on exciting new research in the field of neurology.

Rivers Electrical is an industry-leading full-service electrical contractor in Greater Boston offering pre-construction, engineering, construction, maintenance and emergency services. They are specialists in developing alternative energy, corporate, life sciences, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and other special projects. Rivers Electrical is sponsoring training equipment and offering scholarships for students at Porter and Chester in the Boston metro-area to attract the best and brightest of the industry!
