Admissions Information for Military Veterans

At Porter and Chester Institute (PCI), we recognize and celebrate the huge sacrifices that the current and former military service members have made for our country. That's why we have certain admissions information that is tailored around military veterans going back to school. Some of those things include:

  • Making sure you understand the required paperwork and receiving help filling it out if needed
  • Information about federal and other financial aid opportunities
  • Giving access to military branch-specific resources
  • Providing coursework credit for military classes when qualified
  • Helping give a seamless transition from the military to civilian world

PCI's educational funding representatives are available throughout the admissions and financial aid process and are specifically trained to help with veterans' needs. Applicants will have the ability to talk to people in the financial office to help review your options when it comes to finances for education and federal aid you may qualify for.

Applicants are also able to get connected with career program specialists who will help you determine which one of our 11 programs would be the best fit for you. Among those fields are healthcare, computers, trades, and more. Career service advisors will help you plan and achieve your career goals with tasks like job searching, assisting with resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, and so much more.

At PCI, we make it a point to make sure our students succeed. If you're ready to get started, visit our online application portal or our website to explore more of where and how you can get involved.
