LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, CREDENTIALS
Students have the opportunity to earn their EPA Section 608A and OSHA 30 certification.
This program has been approved at the CT campuses for the related instruction hours required for the Connecticut B-2, D-2 and S-2 licenses. Field hours vary for each license; refer to the state licensing board for more information. Students must achieve a 75 or better in a course for the instruction hours to count toward their "related hours."
There are no licensing requirements in Massachusetts for general HVACR work. Refer to the state licensing board for more information on requirements in commercial HVACR.

Delivery of Hybrid Instruction
On Campus Labs
- Campus Lab Hours Day Program: 9am - 3pm
- 2-3 Lab sessions per week, based on course needs
- Campus Lab Hours Evening Program: 5pm - 9pm
- 2-3 Lab sessions per week, based on course needs
Online Learning
- Students will need approximately 30 hours per week for instruction, activities, labs, reading assignments, and homework
- All materials are accessible in an asynchronous format 24 hours a day/7 days a week
- First week includes acclimation to the systems
Classes in the residential option meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at select campuses only.
